Terms of Use
By using PrivaMesh you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Acceptable use — zero tolerance
PrivaMesh enforces a ZERO-tolerance policy for objectionable, illegal, or abusive content and behaviour. You must not use PrivaMesh to:
- harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
- share illegal content, including content that exploits or endangers minors;
- send spam, malware, or fraudulent messages;
- impersonate others or infringe others' rights.
Users who engage in such behaviour may be blocked by other users and reported.
2. Reporting and blocking
- You can block any contact at any time — you will stop receiving their messages.
- You can report any user or message. Reports are sent to the developer and reviewed.
- Because PrivaMesh is end-to-end encrypted and serverless, the developer cannot read message content. Moderation is performed through client-side blocking and review of reports.
3. End-to-end encryption and serverless design
PrivaMesh has no first-party account server. Messages are end-to-end encrypted and delivered over a public, decentralized transport. The developer has no access to your messages, contacts, or keys, and cannot recover, read, alter, or delete them.
4. Your recovery phrase
You alone control your recovery phrase and keys. Losing your recovery phrase means permanently losing access to your account and messages. The developer cannot recover your account under any circumstances. Keep your recovery phrase safe and private.
5. Message delivery
- Sending a message publishes encrypted ciphertext to a public, decentralized transport. Delivery is irreversible and the ciphertext is immutable — it cannot be edited or deleted after sending.
- Message delivery is metered. A small free monthly allowance is included; additional allowance is available through Apple In-App Purchase.
- PrivaMesh is not a cryptocurrency wallet or exchange. It does not let you buy, sell, hold, send, receive, or convert any cryptocurrency, and there is no wallet in the app. Delivery costs are paid by the developer on your behalf.
6. Subscriptions
PrivaMesh+ is an auto-renewable subscription billed through Apple. It can be managed or cancelled in your Apple account settings. Apple's terms apply to the purchase. In-App Purchases grant only a message allowance and membership perks; no cryptocurrency or digital asset is ever sold.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
PrivaMesh is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss of data or damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of your recovery phrase, failed or delayed delivery, or the actions of other users.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
